Birthdays, Colds and other stuff

We went to visit my family for my twin niece and nephew's birthday party on Feb. 21 and we stayed through the 22nd. I had a great time. The twins were so cute. They turned two on Feb. 26. It was funny watching them with the candles on their birthday cake slices. They did not understand about blowing out the candles at all, and they kept reaching for the flame. Bethany finally had to blow the candles out for them.

Other things that have been going on with us:

Daniel has a cold for over a week now. He is getting better, but his cough is still lingering. I've done pretty much everything I can think of to help him get better. I hope the cough goes away soon. I am starting to come down with a few cold symptoms myself, but it is not too bad for me right now.

I've tried submitting a few articles and query letters to places. I've only received rejection slips so far. I'm still waiting for a response from one magazine.

Daniel finished the marble look on the table he was working on. I'll try to get a picture of it put on here. I might try to stain the legs of the table. I'm not sure yet; I'm just trying to see what will look the best.

We may have a busy weekend ahead. The missions conference is starting at our church this Sunday and I think my papaw's birthday party is this Saturday. March is the birthday month in our family. It always has been, but now that I'm married it is even more so.
